Common Name:      Nymphaea 'Bimini Twist'

The Nymphaea 'Bimini Twist' is an exceptional new tropical waterlily hybrid from Florida Aquatic Nurseries with a purple flower and strikingly mottled pads. What sets N 'Bimini Twist' apart from other tropical waterlilies is the amazingly full flowers. A high petal count is accentuated by the large number of petaloid stamens in the center of the flower. Very few other waterlilies exhibit this characteristic. Not only does Nymphaea 'Bimini Twist' have an eye-catching flower, but its waterlily pads are also quite pleasing to the eye as well. A lime green base color is enhanced by deep merlot patches running through the waterlily pad similar to an older hybrid N. 'Leopardess'. N. ‘Bimini Twist’ was the Best New Tropical Waterlily and also is the Second Best Overall Waterlily.
