Myriophyllum aquaticum
As an aquarium plant, Myriophyllum aquatic is not easy. It requires strong light and supplemental CO2 to do well, but under those conditions grows very fast and is an attractive plant. In good conditions, it develops bronze leaves near the water surface.
Parrot’s Feather also is a great pond plant in the summer. The emersed foliage is feathery and bright green, and soars with ease over the water’s surface. This plant grows great at the edge of a pond. The spiral of leaves may be 3 inches or more and grow on long trailing stems.
