Chamaedorea elegans

Florida Aquatic Nurseries grows the lovely terrarium plant Chamaedorea elegans. Best used as a terrarium plant, this palm has been used in aquariums for short periods. Chamaedorea elegans is able to tolerate submerged conditions for up to a month, but then must be placed in a humid terrestrial habitat to recover.
